  1. Read the excerpt of Flowers for Algernon. Use the copy I gave you in class, or use this link to a PDF.
  2. Using the RACE strategy, answer the questions at the end of the story per the following directions:
    1. Comprehension Questions 1 – 4
      1. Question 1 – 3 paragraphs. 20 points.
      2. Question 2 – 1 paragraph. 20 points.
      3. Question 3 – 5-paragraph essay (do not use RACE for this. 100 points.)
      4. Question 4 – 3 paragraphs. 20 points.
    2. Assignment Sheet
      1. Part A – use one to two paragraphs to answer the questions. 20 points each.
      2. Part B – follow directions as written. 100 points each.
  3. Assignment is due January 7, 2020.
